Save the Planet - Yr 1 - 6

What does it mean to be a world citizen or global citizen? How can we care for our amazing planet, Earth? What would happen if we put our wildest dreams together to heal the environment? To make it trash free, cared for, cherished, loved? What if What if we were able to stop rain forests from being chopped down? What if we could help animals whose habitats are threatened?

These are just some of the things our students thought about when setting out on this wonderfully presented art project about saving the planet, touching upon subjects such as geography and history, as well as techniques to do with arts and crafts.

Zoom in and read for yourself the messages your children have written as pledges to our precious planet. We know that as the year comes to an end, our students are all the more ready to learn about the world they live in and how they can become active change makers as they get older, move up a year and take on more responsibilities.

Where for art thou Romeo?

This week, our Year 6 pupils brought their own adaptation of Romeo and Juliet to life in the drama studio, delighting parents and families with a memorable evening. The Year 6 students supported the production with props, costumes and sound, demonstrating both creativity and teamwork. Huge thanks to Techer Amy for her guidance and to Year 6 for shining so brightly—well done!

It's Been a Sort of Eco-End of the Year!

Bright skies and colourful red striped gazebos filled the school field on Thursday as our end-of-year event got underway. As the sun shone and music played in the background from stalls manned by teachers and their students it felt like summer had finally arrived!

And it has, because as you read on, display boards will have been taken down, books packed away while work their magic across the campus to get it ready for another academic year.

This week we will say join together in a special goodbye assembly to talk about how must follow our innate happiness, part of which is saying goodbye, as we move on through life, following our dreams and designing our futures.

What we take away this term is the wonderful chance we have had to work with brilliant colleagues from all over the world, including Thailand, who together make up our staff team.

Thursday's end of year event reminded me that we are stronger together and this will be the message we deliver in our assemblies tomorrow as we say farewell to to those going on holiday for the summer, and to students and members of staff who will be saying bon voyage, as they go off on their next adventures.

Here are some of the highlights from Primary's end of term event, which was joined by Secondary Head Jeanne and her team of Secondary eco-warriors teaching guests about the benefits for the environment and health by not leaving cars running (a.k.a. Idling).

Enjoy this happy snapshot of the end of the year, 2025. And remember, no matter what role you play in our school's success or as an integral part of our school community, we all are stronger together! Happy summer holidays everyone, for all of us at Si Ri Panya International School.

Secondary Giant End Of Year Quiz

Secondary went out for our end of year excursion to eat ice cream while the house teams wracked their brains and had one final test of wits in the annual Giant End Of Year Quiz. The students battled it out in rounds about our diverse cultures, what we learned in the classroom and weird and wonderful facts about our teaching staff, as well as a picture round of teachers as youngsters.

It was close, but the RED CRABS came out victorious this time around by a single half point. Which team will win the overall title for House Champions of 2024-25, and have their team name added to our House Trophy? Will the Crabs hold on, or are there new Champions in town? We will all find out on the last day of term ...

Many thanks to all the team at Croissant & Ko in Ban Tai, who kindly hosted us and made everyone's stomachs very happy. The support of our local community means everything to us, and we look forward to returning next year.

Research Presentations - Learning about Real World

The end of term is when we really see how students have been able to apply their learning to real-world situations and issues. Year 8 have been combining their Maths and Digital Literacy skills to complete their own choice of research projects, and presented their results this week to their classmates
