Hello, I’m Jidarut Chataloed, the Thai Director at Si Ri Panya International School. My journey in education and language has been shaped by a dedication to both Thai language and cultural education. With a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts, specializing in ASEAN Studies from Walailak University, I have developed a deep appreciation for the nuances of both English and Thai languages, along with their cultural contexts.

Before joining Si Ri Panya, I had the privilege of working at a well-known British International School in Thailand, where I made significant contributions as both a Thai teacher and Head of the Thai Teachers Department. These experiences allowed me to hone my skills in curriculum development, staff mentoring, and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

My role at Si Ri Panya involves leading the Thai department with a focus on enhancing our educational programs and supporting our diverse school community. I am passionate about mentoring staff and ensuring that our educational practices align with our commitment to excellence and cultural sensitivity.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring different cultural experiences and spending time with my family. I believe that a supportive and dynamic learning environment is essential for both students and staff to thrive, and I am committed to contributing to a positive and enriching experience at Si Ri Panya.

Kind regards,

Mrs Jidarut Chataloed

The excitement and enjoyment I felt while teaching have continued to motivate me in my career.

How long have you been teaching?

When I was a child, my mother was a nanny for small children. I spent time playing with them and was happy to have them around. I also liked to write on doors or walls, pretending to be a teacher. I had the opportunity to take care of children in a small nursery in 2010 and had the opportunity to be a Thai language teacher for foreign children in 2012-2014. Then I went to do another job for about 2 years and returned to being a teacher until now.

I am proud to be a part of the healthy growth and development of children, both intellectually and emotionally. It's a joy to see the positive changes in children,
