Our After-School Activities programme gives children the opportunity to try new interests, develop skills and enjoy learning beyond the classroom.
Activities run from 3:05–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, and are available to students in different year groups, depending on the club. Places are limited and allocated once the sign-up form has been submitted and payment has been received.
Families may join part-way through the term, subject to space availability.

School Choir Y3-6:
Develop vocal confidence and enjoy singing as part of a group in our School Choir. This club gives pupils the opportunity to explore their voices, learn new songs and develop performance skills in a supportive and enjoyable setting. Children will practise warm-ups, rhythm, pitch, breathing and singing together as an ensemble. Sessions will help pupils build confidence, listen carefully to others and enjoy the experience of making music as a group. This club is ideal for children who enjoy singing, performing or trying something musical with friends.
School Band Y3-6:
Learn, practise and perform with others while developing confidence as a young musician. School Band gives pupils the chance to enjoy playing music together and experience what it means to be part of an ensemble. Children will practise rhythm, timing, listening skills and simple performance techniques. Sessions will support pupils in developing musical confidence, teamwork and enjoyment through shared practice and performance. This club is ideal for children who are interested in music, enjoy performing or would like to develop their confidence as part of a group.
Advanced Art Y4-6:
Challenge your creativity with inspiring 2D and 3D art projects! Take your artistic abilities to new heights in our Advanced Art Club! This club is perfect for pupils who are ready to explore more complex techniques and push their creativity further. Through engaging and enjoyable projects, students will create stunning 2D and 3D artwork—from sketching and painting to building and sculpting. Each session is designed to develop artistic skills, encourage creative expression, and inspire confidence in young artists. Whether your child is passionate about fine art or loves experimenting with new materials, the Advanced Art Club offers something for every aspiring artist. STEM Club Y4-7:
Take your STEM skills further through practical projects, problem-solving and hands-on challenges. This club gives older pupils the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering and maths in a creative and practical way. Pupils will take part in activities that encourage investigation, design, testing and teamwork. Sessions may include engineering challenges, experiments, problem-solving tasks and projects that help children apply their knowledge in real-world contexts. This club is ideal for pupils who enjoy creating, questioning, experimenting and finding practical solutions to problems.
STEM Club Y1-3:
Explore, build, test and discover through fun, hands-on STEM challenges. STEM Club gives younger children the chance to investigate science, technology, engineering and maths through practical, age-appropriate activities. Pupils will work together to solve problems, test ideas and make discoveries in an enjoyable and supportive setting. Activities may include simple experiments, building challenges, designing structures, testing materials and exploring how things work. This club is ideal for children who enjoy asking questions, making things, experimenting and working creatively with others.
Mini Olympics Y1-3:
Take part in fun sporting challenges that build teamwork, confidence and coordination. Mini Olympics gives younger children the chance to enjoy a range of active games and simple sporting events in a positive and supportive setting. Pupils will practise running, jumping, throwing, balancing and team-based challenges, while developing movement skills, fair play and resilience. Sessions are designed to be energetic and enjoyable, helping children build confidence through participation rather than competition alone. Gymnastics & Parkour Y1-3:
Jump, roll, balance, and explore movement in a fun and active way! Our Gymnastics & Parkour Club for Years 1–3 offers a dynamic introduction to movement, strength, and coordination. Children will build confidence as they learn basic gymnastics skills such as balancing, rolling, jumping, and stretching, alongside playful parkour-style activities tailored for younger learners. Each session encourages agility, body control, and creative movement through obstacle courses and structured exercises, all in a safe and supportive environment. Photography Y6-10:
Learn how to compose, capture and edit creative images using iPhone photography. This club gives pupils the opportunity to develop their photography skills while exploring how images can tell stories, show perspective and communicate ideas. Pupils will learn about composition, lighting, angles, focus and editing techniques. Sessions will include practical photography tasks, creative challenges and opportunities to review and improve their own work. Cooking Y2-6:
Cooking Club – Hands-on fun with food, flavour, and life skills! Join our after-school Cooking Club and discover the joy of preparing food while building essential life skills! Through fun, hands-on experiences, children will learn to prepare ingredients, follow simple recipes, and experiment with seasonings and spices from around the world. This engaging club encourages problem-solving, creativity, and independent thinking, while also introducing pupils to key concepts around nutrition and healthy eating. From reading food labels to learning kitchen safety, children will develop confidence and a deeper understanding of food and its role in our lives. Chess Y5-10:
Expect to be challenged as your strategic thinking skills are sharpened through games, puzzles and tactical play. Chess Club gives pupils the chance to develop concentration, patience and problem-solving skills through one of the world’s most respected strategy games. Pupils will practise planning ahead, recognising patterns, making decisions and learning from each move. Sessions may include friendly matches, chess puzzles, tactics practice and opportunities to develop confidence through play. Pottery Y1-3:
Get creative with clay in our hands-on Pottery Club. Children will learn how to shape, mould and decorate their own clay creations while developing patience, focus and fine motor skills. Each session will give pupils the chance to explore simple pottery techniques in an age-appropriate way, from hand-building and sculpting to adding texture, pattern and colour. Coding Y1-3:
Create, code, and play – unlock the world of game design in Roblox Studio! For beginners, we’ll start by building essential computer skills such as using a mouse, opening and closing files, and mastering basic functions like dragging and dropping. As their confidence grows, children will progress to learning key coding concepts and designing their own games. Through these hands-on projects, they’ll develop problem-solving skills, foster creativity, and explore the exciting world of game design in a fun, supportive environment. English Booster Y3-4:

This club gives children the opportunity to strengthen key English skills in a supportive, small-group setting. Pupils will practise vocabulary, sentence structure, reading comprehension and creative writing through games, short tasks and guided activities. Sessions are designed to help children become more confident using English clearly and accurately. This club is ideal for children who would benefit from extra practice, confidence-building or extension in English.
English Booster Y5-6:
Develop stronger reading, writing and communication skills through focused English activities designed for Years 5 and 6. This club supports pupils as they build accuracy, fluency and confidence in preparation for upper primary learning. Pupils will work on reading comprehension, vocabulary development, grammar, sentence structure and extended writing. Sessions may include short writing challenges, discussion tasks, comprehension practice and editing activities. This club is ideal for children who would benefit from additional English practice, greater confidence or more structured support with written work.
Maths Booster Y3-4:
Strengthen number confidence and problem-solving skills through practical maths activities designed for Years 3 and 4. This club gives children extra opportunities to practise key maths skills in a calm and supportive environment. Pupils will work on areas such as number facts, place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, shape, measures and simple problem-solving. Activities will be varied and age-appropriate, helping children build fluency and confidence step by step. This club is ideal for children who would benefit from extra maths practice, confidence-building or consolidation of classroom learning.
Maths Booster Y5-6:
Strengthen mathematical confidence and problem-solving skills through focused maths activities designed for Years 5 and 6. This club supports pupils as they consolidate key number skills and develop the confidence to tackle more complex mathematical challenges. Pupils will practise areas such as multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages, measures, geometry and problem-solving. Sessions will include guided practice, maths games and challenge tasks to help children build fluency, accuracy and resilience.
