Si Ri Panya News Highlights (issue 27)

Nov 7, 2025 - Festive Season Starts.

This week there has been a real buzz across campus as several special events, curriculum days and excursions took place.

As the festive season approaches — a time of giving, receiving and coming together as family, friends, and our school community — we are delighted to be preparing for our first ever whole-school traditional Christmas dinner.

Students can look forward to a festive feast with all the trimmings. Tables will be beautifully set, and in the spirit of celebration, teachers will serve the food — complete with seasonal drinks and fancy condiments.

For our Christmas display, we warmly invite families to contribute an item of decoration that reflects something meaningful to them. If your family celebrates a religious or cultural tradition during December, we would love to include it. Simply hand your item to our office team, and in the spirit of unity we will add it to Si Ri Panya’s own merry exhibition.

Although celebrations around the world may look different, they have much in common: they bring people together, encourage kindness, and invite us to show appreciation and care for others.

This week we also observed the beautiful Thai festival of Loy Krathong, which fell on the full moon of the twelfth month in the Thai lunar calendar. The festival is a moment of reflection and gratitude — a symbolic release of the past and a welcoming of new beginnings.

Please enjoy the photo gallery of our Primary and Secondary students working side by side as they created their own krathongs, with wonderful support and guidance from our talented Thai team.

Secondary Fitness

Fitness testing doesn’t have to be scary — it’s not about passing or failing, but about staying active and healthy!

Our secondary students recently completed fitness tests, showing great effort and determination throughout. The purpose of these tests is to help students understand their own fitness levels and learn how to stay active and healthy for life.

Together, they ran an impressive total of 69,495 metres - almost 70KM! Demonstrating fantastic perseverance and resilience. We’re so proud of their positive attitude toward fitness and healthy living!

Special mentions to:

Barry & Yalley Year 9,

Suniya & Amit Year 8,

Amelia & Boyd Year 7

for recording the highest scores!

Updated School Calendar – Now Showing Weekly Lunch Menu Rotation

ree

To make things easier for families, the school calendar has now been updated to show which menu week (Week 1–4) corresponds to each week of the term. This will help you quickly check what lunch options are being served.

You can view the calendar here:👉 https://www.siripanya.com/term-dates We hope this small improvement makes planning lunches even simpler for parents.

Halloween Art

As well as dressing up last week, Secondary students were involved in a fun Monster Mash-up art project! See for yourselves how skilfully our students were able to show us their darker sides ...

☔ Rainy Season Reminder

ree

Please ensure your primary-aged child brings a light raincoat with a hood each day.

As the rainy season continues, we kindly ask families not to send umbrellas with primary-aged children. With over 120 primary students arriving each morning, umbrellas can be tricky and unsafe in busy spaces. Older secondary students may use either a raincoat or an umbrella, as they prefer.
